week of 4/21
This week, we will be reviewing for TAKS for 6th and 7th grade. 8th graders will be working on their project (see my website for the rubric – due 5/7-8).
For 6th – Monday – TAKS practice “The Hamilton Post”, Wednesday – TAKS practice “The Hammer of Thor”. Friday, reading logs are due. No homework on Friday because the TAKS Reading test is on Wednesday, April 30.
For 7th – Monday – TAKS practice “Pearls”, Wednesday – TAKS practice “The Hammer of Thor”. Friday, reading logs are due. No homework on Friday because the TAKS Reading test is on Wednesday, April 30.
Next week, we will just do some last minute reviews on strategies, but no homework will be sent home. The following week, we will begin our unit on Greek Mythology. The students will be learning all about the ancient gods and goddesses, and I think they will enjoy it immensely.
